A School boy looks at NYC and the Mayor

Of all of the failures of America’s public schools the worst is that they do not excite children towards learning; they do not initiate or encourage them to follow what they have learned or are learning to something like real adventure.
The following is the result of an 11 year old boy’s conversation with the most important man in his life…a close family friend and his mentor…a man who cares, spends time talking to him as a grownup, listening to him and answering all his questions all the time he asks them. These are the ways, the best ways, of showing love to every child.
We reprint it here to help show the Mayor that people are paying attention to what is and what is not happening. Even 11 year old boys.
We’ve corrected the very few spelling areas but otherwise nothing else.

In the 2017 Mayoral Race that is dawning upon our city, the defending Mayor Bill de Blasio looks to be put in office for another term. However, he may encounter problems not only from the new candidates listed above but from his bad deeds. Donald Trump said: “De Blasio is the worst mayor in NYC history.” Many citizens of New York agree and are looking for new light from the other candidates.

Many of the potential candidates are listed above and most of them have some sort of political background. From a Representative from the House to a public advocate. Some are businessmen with great ideas wondering if their money can be enough for them to claim Gracie Mansion.

All of this may seem possible with de Blasio’s latest downfalls.

De Blasio is currently facing seven investigations. SEVEN! So, today I’m going to walk you through de Blasio’s first 5 investigations, arguably the most important.

  1. Shlomo Rechnitz and Jeremy Reichberg were both very big de Blasio donors that served on his 73 person inaugural committee. Police investigations point to the fact that Rechnitz and Reichberg were granted favors from city hall from de Blasio in exchange for the large amounts of money they donated.
  2. ⅔ of donors had business before the city which led police to believe that de Blasio was setting up a shadow government which violates specific provisions of the conflicts of interest law.
  3. To shift the balance of the Republican majority in the NY Senate, he backed up 3 democratic candidates in a very corrupt way. There is a limit of money that can be paid to an independent campaign, so de Blasio paid the maximum. But then to give the candidates more money and to avoid the donation limit, he paid people to give the candidates his money for him so the money wouldn’t appear to be coming from him.
  4. The building at 45 Rivington Street was sold to the Allure group by the de Blasio administration for 28 million U.S. dollars. However, the building had a restriction that it could only be as a non-profit hospital. Then the Allure group offered the de Blasio administration 16 million U.S. dollars to lift the restriction. Supposedly de Blasio thought the building was going to turned into a profit hospital yet it was sold to a real estate developer for 116 million U.S. dollars to build condominiums. De Blasio claimed he had no notion that was going to happen while authorities are investigating if he really just wanted to pocket 16 million U.S. dollars.
  5. One of de Blasio’s campaign promises was to ban the central park horse carriages (which was an empty promise to begin with). The two principals of NYCLASS, Steven Nislick and Wendy Neu were large donors to the de Blasio organization. Authorities have been searching for granted municipal treatment in exchange for the spending. Also in relation, de Blasio illegally funneled money to anti – Christine Quinn (one of the other candidates in 2013 running against de Blasio) groups to make her struggle therefore giving him a better chance of winning the 2013 mayoral election.

Listed above are 5 of some of the horribly corrupt crimes that de Blasio had committed. Just reading them should make you consider what type of person de Blasio really is.

Not to mention that de Blasio’s garbage plan is garbage. Literally. He has endangered so many innocent civilians with just 2 marine transfer stations. The first one being the 91st street Upper East Side.

Did you know that this transfer station is being built through Asphalt Green where thousands of children play? The NYC Department of Health predicts 150 trucks going in and out of the marine transfer station a day and over 100,000 child truck interactions a year. In these truck’s diesel fuel, there are four different types of carcinogens that could possibly cause cancer. FOUR! Not to mention that the diesel fuel can also cause heart disease, show chronic respiratory symptoms and make health conditions like asthma even worse. The area is residential and filled with people. Imagine being a parent knowing that when your child is walking on the streets even a short interaction can cause vomiting.

And if I were a parent I wouldn’t be able to live with knowing how limited the driver’s vision is. They won’t be able to see 2 feet in front of them! Because it’s blocked. A child or even adult could get hit or get sick at anytime. Come on de Blasio. Really?

The second catastrophic marine transfer station is in Gravesend Bay, Brooklyn. It’s not as much of a problem with the garbage trucks in Gravesend Bay, but it’s almost as bad.

They were given a permit without informing the city that they would be dredging up ‘dirt’ to build the transfer station. They end up dredging up toxic waste from the industrial era. Well great! Now Graves End Bay is extremely toxic. This a major hazard considering the Gravesend Bay leads into waters all around NYC and even the ocean. Now the NYC waters are potentially dangerously polluted and poisoned. But what I personally think is the worst part of these catastrophes is that our mayor is doing nothing to stop the problems in this city or fix the problems in this city.

All in all, mayor de Blasio has made some fatal mistakes. From corruption to health hazards, de Blasio has been a problem and from my perspective, unfit to be the mayor of this proud city. I hope that these new candidates can show my… Our New York City hope and change. To fix the damage that’s been done. The future of this city is in the hands of the 2017 Mayoral Election.
