            TIME:              2:00 - 4:30 P.M.

This meeting is taking place in Albany in response to a request from our Up-State members to hold a meeting midway through the State to give them the opportunity to participate in our efforts to keep the Liberal Party alive.

Many of or Down-State leaders are planning to attend.  We are enclosing a map with directions to our Albany meeting room.  With a 2:00 P.M. start and finishing by 4:30 P.M. there really is no necessity to stay over in Albany unless you desire to do so.

We will discuss what progress has been made up to now at our New York City meetings and you will have the opportunity to give your views in all respects with our efforts to rebuild the Liberal Party and also the possibility of naming a candidate for President of the United States on our line this year.

On March 10th, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral argument on the appeal by the State Board of Elections with respect to the decision of Judge Gleeson that we are all still Liberal enrollees even though the party lost its legal status for failing to obtain 50,000 votes for Governor in 2002.  Herbert Rubin and Jack Olchin will be representing the Liberal Party.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to call Jack Olchin: 516.374.1966.
